Both groups had improvements in all efficacy measures. Using the CGI, more quetiapine patients were 'much' or 'very much' improved group throughout the trial, but this was significant p 0.05 ; at only two timepoints. EPS in both groups declined during the treatment period. Risperidone patients were more likely to have an EPS event and more likely p 0.001 ; to have EPS that required adjustment of study medication or adjunctive medication.
